Ptarmigan Hunting with pointing Bird dog
Taking into consideration the reindeer herding and the future growth of the ptarmigan we do not start the hunting until the 15th of September. 
Our authorized hunting guide and his dogs will be with you during this exciting event. To guide hunting groups is much more demanding than it might seem, we do not just take our groups out into the wilds and hunt, the guide's foremost interest lies in the safety of the group. You will be given instructions about safety and how to behave if you should encounter reindeers during the hunt.

A form regarding your hunting-license etc. will be sent out to you prior to the trip.

Capercaille hunting with pointing game dog
This is a more difficult bird to hunt than the ptarmigan, both for the hunter and the dogs. The capercaille is much more likely to escape and is often found in dense forests giving the added difficulty of getting a clear view for an opportunity to shoot. However this is an exciting experience not to be missed.
